Donors present valid identification, complete a questionnaire, and undergo preliminary health checks.

THE DONATION PROCESS

ELIGIBILITY


  • Are between 17 and 68 years  of age.

  • Weigh between 50 kg to 180 kg.

  • Have not had a tattoo or piercing done in the past 6 months

  • Have not donated blood in the past 56 days

  • Present valid photo identification, proof of address, social insurance card.

  • Have a permanent address within 100 kilometres of a Grifols facility.

I started donating in July 2020. The staff and nurses are always so friendly and caring. You can tell they love their work. A very warm and professional atmosphere. I wasn't sure whether I would be a good candidate for donating but have learned to much about the process and how my donations help others. The staff have always answered any questions or concerns I have had. It has always been a great experience.
